America the Beautiful

The Family set out to find the best 4th of July fireworks in town. Dedicated to finding the best spot to view the show and listen to the music Chase, Janet and myself showed up at 1pm for a 9pm show and set up our camp of blankets and chairs. Later we were joined by friends and family to eat and play games. The stage was set for Chase's first fireworks show, and he had a blast.

Who wants cake

The highlight of the celebration was Chase diving into the cake. We just baked a vanilla cake with frosting. When we gave it to him and he kinda looked at it slammed both his hands on it and then dug in. It was the funniest thing i had ever seen. We had to pry it from his hands.

We celebrated by having a bbq at a park right by our house. Chase did really well and had so much fun seeing everyone.
